Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins’ star wide receiver, was not present at the residence when the fire erupted. At the time, he was attending a Miami Dolphins practice session. A spokesperson for the Dolphins confirmed that Hill had left practice and, upon his return to the scene, was seen hugging family members while wearing a walking boot on his left foot.
The fire was visibly extinguished by around 3 p.m., although a notable hole was visible in one section of the roof. Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, provided statements expressing gratitude for the firefighters who saved the home. Rosenhaus noted that it was unclear whether the family could stay in the home on Wednesday night but emphasized Hill’s thankfulness that no one was injured.
Property records indicate that Tyreek Hill purchased the mansion in 2022 for a reported $6.9 million. The residence spans 9,300 square feet and boasts seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a home theater, a full-size basketball court, a massive pool, and two guest houses.
Despite the unforeseen incident, positive indications suggest that Tyreek Hill is physically fine. His agent confirmed that Hill is expected to play in the upcoming Sunday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
